It is our firm belief that quality of education is determined by the quality of teacher in the institution. Therefore, it becomes the bounden duty of a college of education to ensure optimum development of student teacher so that they are academically proficient, morally upright and socially integrated individuals with nationalistic, democratic and secular outlook.
For us the development of professional abilities and professional commitment of trainee teachers is most important. It is our endeavour that the future teachers of our institution are cosmopolitan in understanding of the world and should be able to see relationships across disparate fields like mathematics, music and language.
It is a matter of great pleasure and honour for all the members of the management, Principal, staff and students, who have strived very hard with their dedicated efforts and maintained the record by showing excellent performance in curricular as well as co-curricular activities, right from the year of inception of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education.
Our Institution has established an identity of its own in the field of professional development of student teachers, not only in this state but also in the neighbouring states as well. Recently our institution has been accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) and awarded "B" Grade. All this has been achieved due to the earnest and sincere efforts of teaching faculty, who work very hard in maintaining the strict discipline and continuously upgrading the quality of academic inputs.
